AVIM Registers

• S-Register: This register is used to store data temporarily for later processing in a stack-like discipline.
• E-Register: This register defines the run-time environment, i.e. all variables that the current machine instruction has access to.
• C-Register: This register contains the code to be executed.
• D-Register: This register is used to save the current state of the machine when a function is called.
• IS-Register: This register is used by the `IF'-instruction to save the continuation of the function behind the `IF'-construct.
• G-Register: This register is used in the `debug'-mode to store trace information.
